Bringing A Smile To The Nation's Face

Bullets

Marks & Spencer

Objective
To promote Children’s Party Clothing to families shopping at Marks & Spencer

Solution
The artists set-up “style stations” in the children’s wear section - decorating girl’s hair with beads, braids and colours while the boys had coloured gels and sprays.

Outcome
These pre-advertised events attracted additional foot-fall, increased browsing time within the store and boosted sales.

ZIP Project, Marks & Spencer

“We have been using Cheeky Cheeks Face Painting Ltd to supply our national face painting requirements since October 2003.

We decided to use face painters as kids love to be part of the latest activity in stores, whether it is a film launch or sporting fixtures. The feedback from the public is always positive, and mums and dads welcome the distraction of their little one for a few moments!!

We believe that we receive value for money as their national database means that we are never charged for travel and as they do not use middle men they can keep their costs down and this saving is passed on to us.

Their promotional face painters are also able to double as Store Samplers by endorsing products and giving out information. We found they were flexible enough to adapt their skills to suit the promotion for example offering hair makeovers or specially designed stencils.

There are times when we have booked with them at very short notice, they have always come up with the goods and the quality of their service remains excellent. “
